France’s Le10 Sport have claimed an exclusive on Tuesday about Manchester City’s interest in, and pursuit of, Kingsley Coman. Pep Guardiola took Coman to Bayern Munich on a two year loan deal which gave the German club a right to buy him at the end.
Le10 claim that Guardiola is pushing Manchester City interest in the player, and that contact has already been made. Manchester City are said to have ‘laid the groundwork’ for a summer approach, and ‘taken a position’ on the player ahead of the window.
The claimed contact is between Manchester City and Coman’s entourage, with the intention likely to be finding out what the 20 year old thinks about the possible switch. Should Manchester City make their move for Coman then it would end up a complicated deal, especially if Bayern are adamant the player should continue with them.
