Manchester City are reportedly among the clubs interested in Valencia CF midfielder Carlos Soler.
The report comes from France, where Paris United, the Twitter account dedicated to Paris Saint Germain, says Pep Guardiola wants the Spaniard
Manchester City would be along with PSG and Barcelona in the race for Soler. Paris United claims that both the English and the Catalan side have already ‘made moves’ for the signing.
However, the French side seem to be on the lead, as they’ve already held meetings with the player’s entourage and the signing is approved by Thomas Tuchel.
With Paris United’s report making it clear that PSG’s efforts to land the player are well advanced, maybe City will have to move quickly to have a chance.
Over in Spain, the claims have been picked up by Valencia’s local sport newspaper Super Deporte. They say Soler is ‘one of the fashionable players’ in the market right now, given the 22 year old’s potential.
He has a buyout clause of €80m, but unless he wants to go it’s unlikely he’d be pushed out right now.
