There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray have agreed a transfer fee with Manchester City to sign Ederson.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to the Super Lig champions in the past week, and it seems they just need to get an agreement with the player over his personal terms.

Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding Galatasaray’s pursuit for the Manchester City goalkeeper and claim a transfer fee of €10m has been agreed with the Premier League side.

Gala will reportedly pay this sum in instalments and negotiations will continue with Ederson’s agent over his salary demands.

Its’ claimed Ederson is currently holding out for €10m a season, but Galatasaray are hoping he will accept €7.5m. With the lower tax rates in Turkey, it’s hoped the Brazil international will agree to this.

According to the Turkish newspaper the Manchester City No.1 is nearing a move to Istanbul and that former Galatasaray goalkeeper Claudio Taffarel has backed the signing of his compatriot.

Ederson made 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is contracted to Manchester City until June 2026.
