Managerial chaos is building across Europe, with the Premier League leading the way. Sunday saw Chelsea part ways with Graham Potter, hours after Leicester City had done the same with Brendan Rodgers.

Tottenham Hotspur had already helped Antonio Conte towards the door he was walking to himself, and there’s now three Premier League clubs looking for a long term boss.

Roberto De Zerbi has been linked with multiple jobs since succeeding at Brighton & Hove Albion, but he’s never encouraged the rumours and seems to be quite happy where he is.

In Italy there’s been frustration that the manager was overlooked by Serie A clubs, and that it was Brighton who decided to move for him.

Tuttosport, via FC Inter News, report Inter Milan are in the market for a new manager, feeling Simone Inzaghi’s time is coming to an end.

De Zerbi is one of the options, and the report states there’s already been contact and an intermediary has been tasked with reducing the manager’s €13m (some reports have it higher) release clause.

That quite clearly appears to be a impossible mission, but there’s always hope in Serie A until it meets reality.
