According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho will make the final decision over the future of left back Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
The Turkey international has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks, along with Borussia Dortmund.
Fotomac have reported on the latest developments regarding Kadıoğlu and they say Fenerbahce are expecting astronomical offers for the player this summer. The defender impressed for his club last season and has carried this form into Euro 2024.
However, Mourinho will be keen to keep hold of his key players going into next season and it looks like he will be one to sanction any transfers. Again, Arsenal and Dortmund are reported as suitors for Kadıoğlu.
We recently covered reports that the Gunners are looking to move in on the Fenerbahce man, but it could take offers in the region of €30m to sign him. There have been claims Dortmund have offered €25m, which was rejected by the Super Lig side.
Kadıoğlu made 41 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring 3 goals. He’s contracted to the Istanbul club until June 2026.
