Manchester United target Gleison Bremer has now been living in Turin for nearly six years, having first played for Torino and now for Juventus.
That makes him a very experienced player in the city derby, and as he prepares for this weekend’s match between those two clubs, it seems that it could be his last.
Gazzetta Dello Sport today features a story in which they highlight Manchester United’s interest in the centre-back and say he could be off soon.
The outlet makes it clear that the Red Devils made a ‘serious and convinced’ approach in January, when it’s stated they first tried to sign Bremer.
Even though Juventus managed to hold the defender at the time, that was basically a ‘wake-up call’, because a summer move is a real possibility.
Gazzetta writes that Bremer could therefore be playing his ‘last derby’, as his latest contract renewal with the Old Lady doesn’t mean he’s staying for much longer.
It’s said that even though Juventus can postpone his release clause by giving him a pay rise, an offer from Manchester United worth over €60m could actually convince the Bianconeri to let him go, with no big debates about it.
