Manchester United seem to be in a serious pursuit for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The latest updates on this chase come from Germany, where Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg brings some news on the case.
The reporter claims Manchester United are the club ‘pushing the most’ at this stage.
Even though his story is mostly focused on Bayern Munich’s interest in the player, it’s highlighted that the Red Devils’ effort is bigger at the moment.
According to Plettenberg, Kolo Muani would cost less than €100m plus bonuses, but Frankfurt are still to receive bids for his transfer.
It’s made clear the 24-year-old still doesn’t have an agreement with any club, and his entourage are only ‘sounding out the market’ for now.
Since the story claims Bayern Munich already opened talks with his staff, we can only imagine that Manchester United are in more advanced stages, if they’re said to be pushing harder.
Kolo Muani joined Frankfurt on a free move from Nantes last summer, and is having an impressive first season in Germany, with 20 goals and 14 assists in 40 appearances so far.
