According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, Manchester United scout Jim Lawlor was spotted in Belgium on Thursday night.

It’s been reported Lawlor was spotted in the Europa League match between Genk and Sassuolo in Cristal Arena.

Terreur, however, isn’t sure who Manchester United were specifically scouting, but suggested Genk stars Leon Bailey and Wilfried Ndidi could be on their radar.

Bailey is a left winger, and has 7 goals and 4 assists to his name already this season. The 19-year-old recently renewed his contract at the Belgian club.

Chelsea and Jose Mourinho were linked several times with signing the player in the summer 2015 transfer window, so it would be no surprise if the manager is interested again.

Bailey was this week named as one of the 40 nominees for Tuttosport’s Gold Boy award, won by Manchester United’s Anthony Martial last year.

Wilfriend Ndidi is a defensive midfielder, and has already made his debut for the Nigerian national team. The 19-year-old also renewed his contract in February.

Both the players have regularly been involved for Genk this season, whilst Bailey was also on the scoresheet against Sassuolo.
