Manchester United are now added to the race for Athletico Paranense starlet Vitor Roque.
Following stories about the interest from several Premier League sides in the 18-year-old, it’s now Erik ten Hag’s side who are named in this race.
As reported by Globo Esporte, Vitor Roque’s entourage has been in Europe, and Manchester United were one of the clubs who met them.
It’s said the player’s staff have been visiting England and Spain to speak to clubs who are interested in signing the teenager.
There’s no information on an offer from Manchester United, even though two Premier League clubs already promised to make their bids in the summer window.
Vitor Roque has been showing huge talent in Brazil lately, and that’s why both his staff and his club Athletico Paranense expect him to move for over €42m.
Besides the meeting with Manchester United, his agents reportedly spoke to Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham United as well.
