Dutch club Feyenoord are eyeing up a move for Manchester City youngster Mikki van Sas as a replacement for the injured Justin Bijlow.
That’s according to FR12.nl, who say the goalkeeper is one of two names ‘currently being discussed’ as they look for a quick replacement for the stricken Bijlow.
They state that his name is ‘singing around in De Kuip’ as an option, particularly as he can be picked up from Manchester City on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old made the switch from FC Utrecht to Manchester City in 2020 and is still seen as a promising goalkeeper for the future by those in charge at the Etihad.
They’re open to doing a deal but will demand a buy-back option be included in any potential transfer so they have the chance of getting him back.
They’re also seeking various other clauses, including a bonus of €1m if he plays a certain number of matches in Feyenoord’s first team and a re-sale percentage of 35%.
Feyenoord are currently assessing their options and if Manchester City’s demands prove to be too high, loaning the goalkeeper for a season is also being considered, although that will presumably also come with various stipulations.
