The links between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Atletico Madrid defender Felipe have been on for several weeks, with the rumours starting even before Matheus Cunha moved to the Molineux.
Despite a few setbacks on the chase for the defender, with reports saying there was no financial agreement between club and player, the rumours are still on.
An update on this story is today featured by outlet UOL, who says Felipe is wanted by Wolves and Inter Miami.
The defender’s contract with Atletico Madrid expires at the end of the season, and that means he could leave for free by then or for a small fee this month.
According to UOL, Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui called Felipe to ‘convince’ him of making the move and join Matheus Cunha.
There are not many more details on that front yet, with the report making it clear that Inter Miami now joined the tussle.
Recent reports from the Spanish media said Felipe was ‘one step away’ from joining the Molineux side, and the problem was really the personal terms offered by the English club.
