Towards the end of the summer window, Arsenal allowed Nuno Tavares to join Nottingham Forest on a loan deal with an option to buy.
After making two substitute appearances in the first two matches, the left-back made his first league start in the Tricky Trees’ league defeat to Manchester City in September.
He was taken off the pitch in the 39th minute due to an injury and hasn’t featured for Nottingham Forest since then. Steve Cooper has left the Arsenal owned player out of the squad in the last six matches and the manager’s decision hasn’t pleased him.
That’s according to Maisfutebol, who state the 23-year-old is ‘unhappy’ with his situation at the City Ground and is ‘looking for a solution’ next month.
The Portuguese fullback was on loan at Marseille last season, where he scored six goals from 39 appearances.
He was hoping to continue his good run at Nottingham Forest but that hasn’t happened so far. Therefore, the Arsenal man wants to leave them in the winter market.
Maisfutebol explain that a move to another unnamed Premier League side is one of the possibilities that’s currently being evaluated. They add that approval from Mikel Arteta’s side is needed for Tavares to change clubs in January.
