Beşiktaş are interested in a move for Everton striker Beto, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer specifically targeting the Portuguese striker.

That’s according to the latest from Sabah, who say Beşiktaş have put the Everton striker on their list of targets for the summer.

According to them, the Turkish side are keen on Beto after his ten goals for Everton this season and would like to sign him on loan with an option to buy.

It’s claimed that Beşiktaş’ management have already started contacts with Beto’s agents over a move, with express permission from Solskjaer to do so.

Sabah circle back to reports in Portugal that state the transfer “would not be a surprise”, further adding to the belief that a move is on the way.

Except, the reports in Portugal do no exist. The initial claims were credited to A Bola, who have not said anything about Beto anywhere recently, either in their newspaper or online. They certainly haven’t said anything about a loan move to Beşiktaş either.

They’ve been credited with making the initial claim, which was then relayed everywhere in Türkiye and now appears to be feeding off itself and growing via reports such as this one from Sabah.
