It appears that Liverpool have made a decision when it comes to one of their potential midfield recruits, and that’s Khephren Thuram.
The OGC Nice midfielder has long been linked with the Reds, who have been interested for a while, and while they cannot afford the likes of Jude Bellingham, they should have enough money for Marcus’ younger brother.
This comes from L’Equipe, who state that Liverpool have made moves ‘more concretely’ than others, as they have been in talks ‘for a few weeks’ to try and understand the feasibility of a transfer for the 22-year-old.
In fact, the Reds have already held a meeting with the player’s entourage, and while few details have leaked from the encounter, the newspaper do state that within the Thuram camp, the idea of moving to Anfield is ‘liked’.
Despite all this, there is still a question about the price Nice might ask for their young star, especially since Liverpool could face a lot of competition for the player.
As things stand, the Ligue 1 side ‘aren’t ready to sell’, but we all know these kind of things can change going forward if the right amount is put in front of the club, or even Thuram himself.
