With a contract expiring in the summer, Roberto Firmino is free to talk to whomever he wants outside of England to leave Liverpool on a free.
The Brazilian has seen his game time reduce this season under Jürgen Klopp, but has still impacted when called upon, with nine goals and four assists in 25 appearances.
However, it appears this season could very well be his last at Liverpool, with claims in Turkey that he has been offered to Galatasaray.
That’s according to A Spor, who put the information forward, stating that ROGON, the player’s agency, brought up the Brazil international’s name when discussing the future of Sacha Boey.
They then add that Firmino has ‘started to collect information’ about Galatasaray, and is reportedly ‘looking forward’ to moving to the Turkish side.
Now, that last part would entirely depend on whether the Süper Lig club can afford his wage demands or even want him, but it appears that, as a next step, the idea of heading to Istanbul isn’t one he’s against.
