As you might have heard, Juventus have taken an interest in Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
The idea that the Serie A side could seriously turn their attention to the Anfield star in the coming weeks is starting to grow in Italy, spurred on by the fact Paulo Dybala is leaving the club on a free in the summer.
This means he will have to be replaced, and while the pair aren’t like for like, an article from Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday morning suggested the Liverpool star would be ‘perfect’ for what Juventus want to do going forward.
They’ve been reported as having already asked for information regarding the Egypt international, and it appears Salah isn’t against the idea either.
He said: “He hasn’t rejected Juventus, the agent hasn’t rejected them either. He’s asked, and I think he’s done the same with other clubs, to catch up after the World Cup qualifiers. To Juventus, he said he was very, very honoured by the call.”
That doesn’t necessarily means that Salah will move to Turin in the foreseeable future, but, if true, then should the Serie A side put together something that Liverpool feel they need to accept this summer, should they be unable to renew their star, then he wouldn’t be against moving to such a prestigious club.
