Three days ago, O Jogo explained that Liverpool star Luis Díaz’s agents had filed a court case against FC Porto over unpaid commissions worth around €3.5m.
It was also said Passion Sports Management S.A.S and Global Consulting Agency Ag dealt with the winger’s move from Lisbon to Anfield in January 2022. Díaz moved for €45m plus €15m in bonuses, and commission of €3.5m was thought to be due in total.
Later that day, Porto issued a statement on their official website which stated “it is not true” that they owe any agent fees to the aforementioned two agencies.
This is relayed by today’s edition of A Bola, who provide the latest on the saga involving the Liverpool player’s agents and his former club.
It’s claimed Passion Sports Management S.A.S are the agency that represents the 27-year-old, and the Portuguese club have settled the ‘overdue debt’ of €2.7m out of court.
A Bola points out the court case filed by the agency against the Dragons at the Judicial Court of the District of Porto was no longer available on relevant portal. This indicates they have withdrawn the case against Díaz’s old club.
However, the newspaper says the case filed by Global Consulting Agency Ag against Porto is still on portal.
