It seems that Mario Balotelli’s Liverpool nightmare is coming to an end.
According to various journalists based in the south of France, the Italian striker is on the verge of completing his move to Nice in Ligue 1, with a medical set for Tuesday afternoon.
William Humberset, a journalist for local newspaper Nice Matin, ‘barring any problem during the medical, Balotelli should be wearing Nice’s shirt this season.’
Sauf problème lors de la visite médicale qui débute cet après-midi, Balotelli devrait porter le maillot du Gym cette saison.Quel gros coup !

The latter part of that tweet suggests the deal taking Balotelli to France is only a loan, but Nice Matin are still unsure about the final decision, and a permanent move is still a possibility.
Considering how clear Jürgen Klopp has been regarding the Italian’s chances of ever making it in his team at Liverpool, a full transfer would be the best solution for all parties, but it remains to be seen if Nice can afford that.
A loan with the Merseyside club paying some of the wages seems the likeliest option, and even that would provide a relief for Klopp, given how clear he’s been about Balotelli’s situation.
