Apart from maybe Liverpool and Manchester City, pretty much every top club in England has been linked at some point with Ivan Perisic.
Tottenham are by far the most recent after Manchester United’s interest waned out following José Mourinho’s dismissal, but we have a new competitor in town, and their name is Leicester City.
This comes via TuttoMercatoWeb, who explain the Foxes are the latest to join the race to sign the Inter forward, needing a player in his position for next season.
This comes at the bottom of an article regarding a contract extension for the Serie A side’s striker Lautaro Martinez, where the Italian website explain that while the Argentine’s Italian adventure is bound to continue, Perisic’s isn’t.
Leicester are reportedly ‘thinking’ about making a move for the 30-year-old, who, just today, was said to be available at €30m by other members of the local media.
This could just be because of the James Maddison rumours, linked with a number of ‘bigger’ clubs in the Premier League, but that isn’t discussed in TuttoMercatoWeb’s article.
Just that Leicester City are considering a move for Perisic.
Welcome, Foxes fans. You’re in for a fun ride.
