We know it’s hard to believe, but Leicester City are looking at players that aren’t called Stefano Sensi to bolster their squad.
This is what L’Equipe reveal on Wednesday, claiming that the Foxes were one of the clubs who sent a scout to watch Nathan Zeze on Sunday in the 0-0 draw against Stade de Reims.
The French newspaper explain that a number of teams are looking at the 18-year-old, who is seen as ‘one of the most promising young players of his generation’, and Leicester have taken note.
There appears to be a bit of worry emanating from Nantes, because they know how exciting the talent is, and the fact clubs are sniffing around could be a problem in the last few hours of the transfer window.
In fact, L’Equipe claim the ‘next 24 hours should prove decisive’ in whether Zeze leaves Nantes, with clubs already calling for him in the early stages of the transfer window.
Still, they have their barricades up and have made it clear Zeze will not leave ‘barring a substantial offer’, which is a message Leicester will have to take into consideration if they do plan on trying to get the next big thing out of France early.
