Çağlar Söyüncü’s deal at Leicester City runs down at the end of this season and his future seems to be away from the Premier League side.

On Monday, AS reported the defender has decided against signing a new deal at the King Power Stadium and has an agreement in place with Atlético Madrid.

It was also explained the La Liga side could try to sign the 26-year-old for a reduced price in the winter market.

Diego Simeone’s side wanting the Turkey international is also reported by Marca and their title states Söyüncü is ‘close to signing for Atlético’.

Within the report, it’s said Los Rojiblancos are ‘very close’ to signing the centre-back and he will arrive in Madrid as a free agent next summer. The Spanish club could also push for his arrival in January if two of their current centre-backs were to move elsewhere.

Felipe and Mario Hermoso are those two players who could change clubs in January. The Brazilian is of interest to Wolverhampton Wanderers and it has already been confirmed by their manager, Julen Lopetegui, earlier this month.

If Atlético decide not to advance the operation for the Leicester player in the next window, he would join them on a free transfer after this season.
