Premier League champions Leicester City have been strongly linked with a move for AS Roma’s Leandro Paredes.
A couple of days ago, Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported Leicester and Zenit Saint Petersburg are keen on signing the Argentine midfielder, but said the Premier League club haven’t made any offers yet.
AS Roma reportedly wanted €20m for Paredes, whilst an offer of €15m was on the table from Zenit. The Serie A club are happy to offload Paredes as that’d allow them to sign Torino’s Bruno Peres.
According to a latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Leicester City could offer €15m for Paredes in the ‘coming hours’.
Gazzetta believe Leicester’s offer of €15m should be enough to convince AS Roma to sell the 22-year-old.
It appears Leicester have been given a quick discount on the player, after it was claimed only a couple of days ago that the Serie A club want €20m for the Argentine.
