William Vainqueur has certainly had a busy few years.

In summer 2014 the Frenchman signed for Dynamo Moscow, then the following summer he moved to AS Roma. In 2016 he moved to Marseille on loan for a season, returning to Rome last summer.

After playing a couple of pre-season friendlies for the Italian club, Vainqueur then signed for Turkish side Antalyaspor, and he could now be on the move again.

That’s possible as long as the friendlies weren’t counted as official matches, because if they were he’d be unable to represent a third club this season.

TMW report Leicester City and Stoke City are both interested in the player, along with Italian club Torino.

The TMW look is from a Torino perspective and it’s explained there’s already been contact from both Leicester and Stoke, presenting the Premier League clubs as competition.

It’s unlikely Torino would compete with either Stoke or Leicester on transfer fee or wages, giving an English advantage.

Vainqueur is a 29 year old defensive midfielder.
