On Monday we covered claims from Spain that Leeds United have managed to arrange two options for Hadi Sacko to go out on loan for the second half of the season.
The player spent the first half of the campaign at Las Palmas, but the Canary Island club have been less than impressed. Several times, Las Palmas’ local media have spoken about the player’s lack of technical quality, with the insinuation being he’s fast and that’s about it.
La Provincia reported Sacko’s two options were AEK Larnaca in Cyprus, or MOL Vidi in Hungary and they expected a deal could happen on Monday.
That didn’t happen, perhaps Sacko is still choosing, but Tuesday’s edition of AS insists the options remain open and Leeds ‘seem to have no problems’ in finding a new home for their player.
Las Palmas will be relieved when the deal is finalised, because, in the approach to the January window, Victor Orta was vague with the Spanish media about a possible return for Sacko.
