Turkiye Gazetesi report Besiktas president Fikret Orman is ready to sell Leeds United target Jeremain Lens for €5m, with the Yorkshire club ‘pushing’ for the signing ‘for a while’.

We recently covered reports from Turkey that Lens is an option for Marcelo Bielsa, as the Championship club looks to bolster its squad ahead of the next transfer window.

Leeds United recently watched the player in the Europa League.

Turkiye Gazetesi report manager Marcelo Bielsa is keen to work with Lens and he wants the Leeds United board to bring in the Dutchman.

The Turkish newspaper claim Orman wasn’t planning to sell Lens, but now his stance has changed as he’s ready to accept the offers in the region of €5m.

Besiktas manager Senol Gunes doesn’t want to let Lens go but Turkiye Gazetesi say if the Istanbul club manage to sign a replacement then Gunes will give the green light to the transfer.

The former Sunderland player joined Besiktas at the start of last season and is under contract with the club until 2022.
