Fotomac claim Fulham are targeting Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida ahead of the January transfer window.

The Turkish newspaper report the Premier League side are set to make an offer for the Croatia international, who was linked with a move to Leicester City, Arsenal and Everton in the summer.

Vida impressed for Croatia in the World Cup and was key in his country reaching the final of the competition, leading to interest from England.

Fulham have the worst defensive record in the English top flight this season and their manager Claudio Ranieri could be in the transfer market for defensive reinforcements.

Besiktas have already lost Pepe and the Black Eagles will only sell Vida for the right price, according to the Turkish newspaper, presumably so they can bring in a replacement themselves.

It’s also reported Fulham have €15m to spend on two centre-backs in this January transfer window.
