A little snippet of transfer information comes via Marc Mechenoua on Froday afternoon, who reports Leeds United and Norwich City are keen on the same player in the Swedish league.
The man in question is Jusef Erabi, who plays for Hammarby IF and came through the youth system at the Allsvenskan club.
In Sweden, the football season runs from March until November, to avoid the coldest months of the winter. Erabi has missed a chunk of the current campaign due to minor knee injury, but in 16 matches he’s found the back of the net seven times.
Last season he scored 11 goals in 29 matches.
Mechenoua reports ‘discussions are ongoing’, presumably between each of Leeds United and Norwich City with Hammarby IF, and both Championship clubs have been told the price tag is €10m.
Norwich City have this week sold Adam Idah to Celtic, and Leeds United are in the process of selling Georginio Rutter to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Erabi could be a replacement option.
