The Spanish media today shares some news on Marc Roca’s immimnent departure from Leeds United.
AS writes that Real Betis already have the 26-year-old tied up, as the player ‘awaits a simple call’ to complete the move to the La Liga side.
Roca is expected to leave Leeds on a loan deal, with the Spanish club holding a €12m option to make the transfer permanent.
Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is said to be ‘looking forward’ to having the player in his squad, with the club working hard to reinforce their team.
What is left for the transfer to be done is that Betis are looking to offload some of their players and generate the necessary salary space.
Roca has a contract with Leeds until 2026, and is one of the many players who are being allowed to leave Elland Road following the relegation to the Championship.
The midfielder is valued by Transfermarkt at €10m, but the Whites seem to be having some problems negotiating all those departures, with the loans looking like an easier solution.
Roca had joined Leeds on a €12m deal last summer, and is set to leave after only 36 appearances.
