Clearly wanting to bolster Leeds’ attacking options, Jesse Marsch has targeted a number of players to do so.
The money received from Raphinha’s sale will help, and on top of Luis Sinisterra, the likes of Arnaud Kalimuendo are being pursued.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker has earned himself a decent reputation in France after two years on loan at RC Lens, already gaining good experience for a 20-year-old.
This has led to a few teams going after him, including Leeds, who were said on Thursday to be intensifying talks to sign Kalimuendo.
A fee of €25m was reportedly being discussed, with €22m of those being up front, and the following €3m bonuses.
#Mercato #PSG

This is backed up by journalist Ignazio Genuardi, who took to Twitter to reveal that on top of the fee, there will be a little bit extra for Paris Saint-Germain.
Talking directly in GBP, he says the fee would be a ‘bit more than £20m’, with £17.5m up front and £3m in bonuses, with the deal ‘being accompanied of a percentage on a future sale’.
That would make sense for a 20-year-old, especially one Paris Saint-Germain might believe in but simply don’t have the space for at this moment in time.
Therefore, they would make a bit of extra money if he was to do really well at Leeds, who now have the task of ‘reaching an agreement with the player’.
