This transfer window has been all about reunions.
Chelsea being linked to quite a few players that have previously played under Antonio Conte, Zlatan Ibrahimovic signing for Jose Mourinho’s team, Nampalys Mendy reuniting with Claudio Ranieri at Leicester, and now Jurgen Klopp also reportedly wants to sign a couple of his former players.
We have another name to add to the long list, as German newspaper Bild suggest Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing Jakub Błaszczykowski this summer.
Błaszczykowski was a key player at Borussia Dortmund under Klopp, but was sent on loan to Fiorentina last season by Thomas Tuchel.
Bild reckon the Polish winger is available for something between €5m to €7m, which they call a bargain price, and that he’d perfectly fit at Liverpool.
Błaszczykowski, however, is keen on wearing the Dortmund shirt again this season, and prove to Tuchel that he can still do a job at the club.
This isn’t the first time Bild have linked a Bundesliga player to Liverpool in the last few days, and it remains to be seen if there is any truth in it.
