For the past few weeks, multiple reports from the Spanish press have talked about Real Betis’ interest in Leeds United’s Marc Roca.
The 26-year-old is one of the players that wants to leave Elland Road in the summer window after the Whites were relegated from the Premier League.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Leeds midfielder is ‘seduced’ by the idea of playing for Real Betis next season and is also excited about returning to La Liga.
It’s stated the former Espanyol man is ‘waiting for his transfer’ to the Spanish club to take shape. Los Verdiblancos, who want to take him on loan, are negotiating with Leeds to include a purchase option as part of the deal.
The report states this is the ‘key week’ for Roca’s arrival at Real Betis. He’s currently training alone to arrive in his best condition at Betis.
Manuel Pellegrini ‘hopes to have’ the Leeds player at his disposal on Tuesday, when Real Betis will start the preparation for the pre-season.
Real Betis have already ‘tied up’ deals for Héctor Bellerín and Ayoze Pérez, and are now working to secure Roca’s services. Mundo state they would have to carry out a few sales in order to register these players.
