It’s now time for the Brazilian media to share some news on Manchester City’s effort to sign Savinho.
As journalist Jorge Nicola speaks about the transfer on YouTube, he claims to have some exclusive information on how much that will cost.
According to his information, Manchester City are spending €30m on the transfer, with 12.5% going to his former club Atlético Mineiro.
That money won’t go very far, though, as it will continue to circulate within the City Group, apart from the percentage owed to the Brazilian club.
Savinho was signed by Troyes from Atlético Mineiro for just €6.5m in 2022. He first spent a season on loan at PSV and was sent to Girona last summer.
He’s been one of the highlights in the Spanish club’s incredible La Liga campaign, with seven goals and seven assists in 27 appearances so far.
Manchester City are then agreeing his transfer from Troyes, who also belongs to the City Group.
According to recent reports from Spain, the player may even stay at Girona for another season on loan, as he’s said to be very happy there.
