Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi has been offered to Fenerbahçe, with Jose Mourinho set to make the final decision on a move for him.
Fanatik report that Ndidi has been offered to Fenerbahçe by his managers, who also have Franck Zambo Anguissa on their radar.
Ndidi is looking to leave Leicester after their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed and recent reports have made it clear he has a €9m relegation release clause in his current deal. That has now become active.
His managers are offering him around to drum up potential interest and that’s seen him offered to Fenerbahçe ahead of the summer.
Whether the Turkish side now make a move for him remains to be seen but any initiative will only begin once it has been approved by manager Jose Mourinho. He will have the final say on any potential deal.
If he does approve the deal, Fenerbahçe are expected to try and finalise the move as soon as possible to try and beat the competition to Ndidi’s signature.
They’ll be waiting on Mourinho’s approval first, but it seems Ndidi and his entourage are working to drum up interest and have sent proposals to Turkey with that in mind.
