With Azzedine Ounahi being one of the Moroccan players who are expected to be involved in big transfers after the World Cup, we now see Leicester City standing out as one of the suitors to sign him from French side Angers.
That’s something reported today by Italian outlet Inter Live, who features a big story about the 22-year-old’s future.
The website writes that despite the interest from Inter Milan and Milan in the signing, there’s ‘in particular’ the chase from Leicester City and Barcelona as well.
According to Inter Live, that it’s Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes who is ‘already making moves’ for the Moroccan, as he already has ‘many potential offers’ in his hands, from ‘important’ clubs’.
A previous report from France claimed that Leicester were prepared to go and spend as much as €45m to sign Ounahi.
Inter Live echo that, and state that all this big competition is bringing his price up, which is when they mention the above figure as the benchmark.
As the player still has one game left in the World Cup, he should soon get back to the club and see a big fight to sign him in January.
