Francesco Guidolin is facing an uncertain future at Swansea City, after last night’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.
The Welsh side went 1-0 ahead in the first half, after an impressive performance, but eventually couldn’t stop Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Swansea now lie in 17th position, with four points from 7 games, and reports had earlier suggested Guidolin could be sacked during the international break.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Guidolin is expected to be informed about his future today.
Gazzetta say Guidolin could be replaced by former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs, or Le Havre boss Bob Bradley.
Reports in the English media also claim the former Udinese boss is set to be sacked in the coming days, and could be the first managerial casualty in the Premier League this season.
Swansea face Arsenal just after the international break, and the fixtures aren’t really helping the Swansea boss. It’s been a real hard run for the Italian and may ultimately end up costing the manager his job.
