According to a claim in the Italian media, Sevilla are the latest club to show an interest in AC Milan forward Andre Silva.

Wolverhampton Wanderers were linked with the Portugal international in the last window, and reports have this week resurfaced they could look to sign the player in the summer.

Corriere dello Sport have today reported on the latest developments over Silva’s future at the San Siro, and the Italian newspaper say Sevilla are showing an interest in the attacker ahead of the summer window.

The Spanish club are still uncertain if they’ll redeem Sandro Ramirez in the summer after loaning the striker from Everton until the end of the season, and Silva could be an alternative.

However, a deal for Silva is unlikely to be cheap for Sevilla, given AC Milan signed him for €40m.

During the last transfer window we did some digging after reports linked Silva with a move to Wolves. There were claims in Italy that Wolves had tabled an offer for the 22 year old, which was rejected by AC Milan, but those claims unravelled under mild inspection.

This week there have been fresh reports that Wolves are interested in Silva, likely motivated by the Jorge Mendes link, and could do battle with Valencia and AS Monaco in the next window to sign the youngster.

Wolves pulled off the ambitious signing of Ruben Neves last summer, and if they do get promotion to the Premier League it’ll be interesting to see if they pursue Silva.

It’s a good job Wolves are on the verge of promotion to the Premier League, because their Championship rivals would have kittens at the thought of Andre Silva arriving at the club.
