Italian club ‘in the front row’ to sign Tottenham player – ‘Offers not lacking for June’, ’embarrassment of choice’

Despite many rumours sending him away from Tottenham in January, Christian Eriksen is expected to stay in London until the end of the season.

That’s what FC Inter News are reporting on Thursday, as they claim Inter are ‘in the front row’ for the Denmark international as they attempt to get him on a free.

Behind the scenes at Spurs, the desire is to try and sell their star, as they know the January transfer window will be their last chance to get some money for him.

As things stand, it’s believed their asking price is €40m, which is far too much for the interested clubs, including Manchester United, who reportedly offered €20m + Nemanja Matić.

FC Inter News explain the ‘possibility of being a free agent on the market is too tempting’for Eriksen, because the ‘offers are not lacking for June, and there is only the embarrassment of choice’.

Clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been courting him for a long time, and Inter have ‘already moved in a concrete way’ as they met the player’s agent.

The website believe Eriksen ‘likes and appreciates Inter’s courtship’, as the Serie A side face ‘fierce and important international competition’ for his signature.
