Two months ago, Calciomercato.it explained that AC Milan were interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana in the winter market.

It was explained the Rossoneri would return for the 31-year-old in the summer and they would face competition from Lazio in acquiring the England international’s services.

The former Southampton man’s contract at Anfield runs down in June and having seen his playing time restricted this season, he is likely to leave as a free agent.

According to Calciomercato, the next window will be impacted due to the Covid-19 crisis, which is why intermediaries are working on those players who will be available on a free transfer.

It’s claimed Jürgen Klopp’s man has been ‘proposed’ to Milan in the last few weeks.

However, the Italian club doesn’t view the Liverpool player as a first choice opportunity, which is why the Milan management have ‘not warmed up’ for Lallana.

Calciomercato also adds that apart from Milan, Lallana has been offered to other Serie A clubs, but they don’t provide details of those sides.
