Back in March, reports coming out of Italy explained that Brighton & Hove Albion have a keen interest in Juventus’ Samuel Iling-Junior.
Earlier this month, Tutto Juve stated Roberto De Zerbi’s side have initiated contact to sign the winger in the summer.
Calciomercato now state Brighton are ‘serious’ about the 19-year-old and have already taken further steps to acquire his services.
The England U20 international joined the Serie A side from Chelsea in 2020 and was promoted to Juve’s first team earlier this season. He’s managed a goal and an assist from 16 games, and also earned a three-year extension last December.
Despite signing a new contract, the outlet claims the ‘market is again an option’ for the player. If Eintracht Frankfurt took the most concrete steps to sign him in recent months, the Seagulls now seem to have taken the lead.
It’s claimed Brighton have appeared as the ‘most interested club’ forto sign Iling-Junior and have ‘already put a €15m’ bid on the table to snatch the attacker away from Juventus.
Calciomercato don’t mention the stance of Iling-Junior and Juve on the potential operation in the summer.
