Rodrigo’s frustration at Leeds United continues being a topic for Spanish outlet Fichajes.

At the end of the last week, the website already had a report claiming the player ‘wasn’t comfortable’ at Elland Road, and with La Liga clubs going after him, he could leave in the summer.

They now come with a stronger report today, this time claiming that the striker has now asked to leave the Whites in the next transfer window.

Fichajes calls him the ‘failure of the season’ at Leeds United, since he couldn’t meet expectations and won’t have many chances to do it now.

Fichajes say his departure now seems ‘inevitable’, especially with multiple Spanish clubs going after him in the summer.

They point out that Rodrigo feared not having a place at the Euros this year, and with his current stats, it’s quite unlikely he’ll get it, as he only has five goals in 24 appearances for the Whites so far.

Leeds spent €30m to sign him last year, and it’d probably be quite hard for them to recover the money in the next transfer window.
