Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has refused to comment on his future at the club with his contract set to expire next summer.
The Italian midfielder has been a key player for the Blues since a €57m move from Napoli in 2018, bouncing back from a slow start under Maurizio Sarri to establish himself under each manager since.
He retains an important role under current Chelsea boss Graham Potter but, despite that, is yet to sign a new deal to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
His current contract expires next summer, meaning from January 1st he is free to negotiate a free transfer for next summer with clubs around Europe.
That led Sky Italia, relayed by Gianluca di Marzio, to ask the Chelsea man for a definitive answer on his future but instead found the Italian international unwilling to play ball.
“I’d say we’re done with questions… Bye-bye!” they quote him as saying when the matter was brought up, albeit while laughing.
That won’t bring much comfort to Chelsea fans, though, who may feel the midfielder’s refusal to answer definitively is another hint that he will be on the way out this summer.
