PSV Eindhoven forward Couhaib Driouech has admitted he was left gutted by his failed move to Rangers.
ESPN have an interview with the 24-year-old today. He’s now back at Eindhoven following his failed move to Rangers last week.
What happened with Couhaib Driouech

The forward appeared destined to join the Scottish side after a deal was agreed between the two sides. He then spent two days with them, undergoing tests, ahead of the move.
Rangers, though, decided not to proceed when they discovered Couhaib Driouech had an injury that they believed would keep him out for up to six weeks.
PSV Eindhoven have since argued against that. Indeed, the Dutch media have insisted Rangers took nonsensical approach to the matter.
Director of football Ernest Stewart then detailed what had happened for the Dutch media. He admitted Driouech had been left severely disappointed by the transfer collapsing. The player himself has now admitted as much.
“Of course, I thought it was a super shame,” he said.
“Because you’ve been there for a few days. You hope for the best, you’re making the choice. In your head, you’re already playing yourself in a different kit.
“But yeah, eventually you have to flip the switch again. It’s not the first time that this has happened to me. It’s just rotten, but yeah, it’s just what it is.”
Medical disagreements with Rangers
The forward was also asked what had happened behind the scenes. According to his information, the whole deal fell apart because of a disagreement between the doctors at Rangers and PSV Eindhoven.
“I think there was a difference of opinion between the doctors,” he added.
“I had a small tear in my upper leg. And here (PSV) they said that is a 1A (mild muscle pull or sprain). And there (Rangers) they thought it was a 2C (hamstring tear).
“I think it’s been made worse because I had a knee that week in my upper leg, that caused a haemorrhage in my upper leg.
“But I just feel good now and I’m also glad that I’m back on the field. What they have decided, I have no influence on. I would have found it a nice step to go there. But it didn’t go through in the end. Too bad, but, I’m glad I’m back again.”
