Jakub Kiwior is unlikely to leave Arsenal this month, despite increased interest in him from Italy this month.
That’s according to his agent Paweł Zimończyk, who has poured cold water all over the rumours surrounding his client this month.
Kiwior has been extensively linked with a move from Arsenal this month, having barely featured for Mikel Arteta’s side this season.
He joined Arsenal in the January transfer window last year and was very much a signing for the future, given the centre of Arsenal’s defence is well covered by Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
That partnership’s strength means he’s barely featured since his arrival and that has been the case this season, with him managing just 707 minutes of action in 16 games in all competition.
He’s subsequently been linked with a move back to Italy this month, where several clubs are in search of a defender and remember his performances from Spezia well.
There have been consistent consistent reports about a move, but it seems his agent is determined to pour cold water on those suggestions for the time being, insisting that he does not see anything happening before the end of the window.
“Kuba is an Arsenal player,” he said.
“There are no signs that they want to get rid of him and I don’t think anything will happen in the winter window.”
