On May 7th, Het Belang van Limburg explained Club Brugge have not received any concrete offer from Leeds United for Noa Lang after claims in England reported the Whites’ interest in signing the player.

It was also stated Marcelo Bielsa’s side will need in excess of €25m to sign the 21-year-old this summer.

The winger joined the Jupiler Pro League winners on loan from Ajax last summer, and two months ago, he confirmed his stay was permanent and he’d signed a contract with the club until 2024.

Voetbal Nieuws now again reiterate the Premier League side’s interest in the Netherlands U21 international. It’s claimed that in recent weeks, Leeds have been ‘put forward as a potential candidate’ to sign the player.

Lang enjoyed his debut season in Belgium, scoring 17 goals and registering 11 assists in all competitions.

His impressive displays for Club Brugge saw him clinch the Best Youth Player of the Year award at the Pro League Awards.

Asked about his future at the ceremony, the Dutchman said: “I can’t promise anything. I don’t know what’s going to happen this summer. If I stay, it will be with all my love.”

Voetbal Nieuws explain Club Brugge fear losing the player this summer, and the Leeds United claims, with the Whites the only club named, will surely be encouraging that.
