Hull City have agreed on a season-long loan deal for Joseph Nonge Boende, but the player is still undecided about the switch.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reports that Boende is still focused on a returning to Belgium.
Hull have been working on a deal for the Juventus man for the best part of two weeks but are yet to get it over the line.
It was earlier this month that Hull had grown concerned that the deal was stagnating and Tavolieri reports that is because of Boende.
He explains that Juventus and Hull have agreed on a season-long loan deal for the player without an option to buy.
The player, however, is still undecided on the move and maintains his desire to return to Belgium instead.
He has offers from Royal Antwerp, who’ve already been in contact with Juventus about a loan with an option to buy. RSC Anderlecht are also in the mix. Boende would prefer the latter but so far, they haven’t contacted Juventus about a transfer.
That gives Hull something of an advantage, but it seems they’re yet to convince the player that the Championship should be his next destination.
