Italian outlet Il Messaggero today lists a few players who could soon leave Lazio, and one of them is Vedat Muriqi.

Spending most of the season on the bench, the striker is said to be looking for a way out of the Serie A side, who he joined last year in a €20m deal from Fenerbahce.

And when speaking of potential destinations for him, Il Messaggero only names one club.

That’s Hull City.

The newspaper writes that the Tigers are interested in signing the 27-year-old and would like to pay €10m for his transfer. The problem is that the Championship side would like to wait until the summer to make this move.

Muriqi’s agent is said to be working to anticipate his departure from Lazio, and is currently trying to get offers from Turkey for the January window. So his move away from the Serie A side could be sorted out before Hull even make their attempt to sign him.

Now if the Tigers are indeed in touch with the striker’s entourage, then they’ll of course be aware of those intentions. So in case the interest is strong, it’d make sense for them to consider a move for a January deal.
