On Wednesday, we covered claims from Germany that Eintracht Frankfurt have initiated contacts to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Fábio Silva in the summer window.

Eintracht Frankfurt aren’t the only German club looking at the striker as VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg.

That’s according to SER Deportivo Las Palmas, and they cover the growing interest in the Wolves player.

Silva has been on loan at UD Las Palmas since last summer and has starred for them this season, scoring 10 goals and registering three assists from 23 league games.

His fine displays have attracted the attention of several clubs and is currently a ‘hot topic’ in Germany, where Eintracht Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg are all keen.

Silva’s entourage confirmed the Bundesliga trio’s interest to SER Deportivo Las Palmas, but there aren’t any comments from them.

The Portugal international has a contract at Molineux until 2026 and has to return to his parent club after this season. As well the German clubs, Atlético Madrid, Villarreal and Sevilla are also to be in the mix.

On Wednesday, the Wolves man said Atlético are one of the best teams in the world when quizzed about their interest. Silva’s entourage have informed SER Deportivo that he was expecting a question on Los Rojiblancos’ links.

He will make a decision on his future after the loan spell with Las Palmas. The report says several teams ‘will be fighting’ for the former FC Porto man in the next window.
