On October 8th, MilanLive.it reported AC Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimović wants to sign Manchester United’s Victor Lindelöf at all costs.

Ibrahimović played alongside the centre-back at Manchester United and Sweden in the past.

TV4 had a chat with the Serie A side’s advisor to discuss the claims about Milan’s reported interest to bring the Manchester United player to the San Siro. His comments are relayed by Fotbollskanalen.

“There are a lot of rumours going around. That rumour is more because I’m Swedish, and Lindelöf is Swedish. He’s a fantastic player. I think he’s doing well at United,” he said.

“We have many good players in that position. I don’t know what he wants. I think you have to ask him. If we are there? You never know.”

When asked what he wants, Ibrahimović explained: “We want a lot. And we’re working for it.”

The 30-year-old’s future beyond this season remains uncertain as his deal lasts until next June. His contract situation at Manchester United makes him a market opportunity for other clubs.

Lindelöf missed the start of this season due to an injury. The defender has player seven games this season, including four substitute appearances in the Premier League.

Two days ago, Tuttosport stated the former Benfica man has offered himself to Juventus, who are looking to sign a new centre-back in January, to ease off injury woes.
