Borussia Dortmund have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the clash with Manchester City, with Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen both fit for the game.

That’s according to Sky Germany journalist Sven Westerschulze, who says both have travelled to Manchester ahead of the clash tomorrow.

Manchester City host Dortmund in match-day two of their Group G campaign, having started in emphatic fashion with a 4-0 win over Sevilla on match-day one.

Dortmund are likely to be trickier opponents than their Spanish counterparts after a solid start to the season with four wins from six in the league and a 3-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League last week.

They had looked likely to be heading to the game undermanned, though, with both Malen and Adeyemi nursing injuries over the last week.

They both missed the 3-0 defeat to Leipzig over the weekend and had looked likely to miss the trip to Manchester City, but Westerschulze has ‘good news’ on that front.

He reports that both players are ‘on the way to Manchester’ for the game and will be a part of Edin Terzic’s squad.

That’s a welcome boost, although it remains to be seen if both are able to start the game or just feature on the bench.
