Tyler Burey spent four years at Millwall FC before leaving them for Danish side Odense Boldklub last summer.
During his time at the Championship side, the forward spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Hartlepool United. He made 58 appearances for Millwall, managing three goals and an assist in the process.
The 23-year-old struggled for regular game time at OB in the first half of this season, and was sent out on loan to Oxford United in January.
According to Tipsbladet, the former Millwall man’s decision to join Oxford United has ‘gone completely wrong’ for him.
Burey played five matches for the League One side initially but hasn’t featured since their 1-1 draw against Blackpool in February. He struggled at the Danish club and his situation didn’t improve even after returning to England on a temporary deal.
The winger’s situation has ‘looked really bad’ as he was left out of the squad by manager Des Buckingham for the last nine matches. Tipsbladet have reached out to the player and Oxford United for a comment but neither responded to their request.
In short, Burey has had a rough time since leaving Millwall last summer.
